Rhiannon Ilumin, AMFT #156757
Supervised by Amanda Parker, LCSW #70047
My name is Rhiannon Ilumin. I am a California based clinician passionate about working with children, teens, individuals, couples and families. I seek to create a supportive and engaging space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and grow.
As a therapist, my approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and the belief that healing is possible for everyone. I specialize in supporting clients navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and attachment-related challenges. I offer a compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to reconnect with yourself.
I’m here to walk alongside you, without judgment and at your pace. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your life. Therapy can be a powerful space to reclaim your voice, heal your nervous system, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I offer sliding-scale therapy sessions to help make therapy more affordable and accessible. I can also provide superbills for clients whose insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to determine whether you may be eligible for reimbursement.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring therapy to each client's needs, age, personality, and goals. I integrate different approaches based on who you are, what you're experiencing, and what feels most helpful to you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
Exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier and more balanced ways of responding to challenges.
Mindfulness & Somatic Approaches:
Building awareness of how emotions and stress show up in the body and developing skills to become more grounded and connected to the present moment.
Trauma-Informed Therapy:
Creating a safe, empowering therapeutic environment that recognizes the impact of past experiences while emphasizing choice, collaboration, and emotional safety.
Parts Work:
Exploring the different "parts" of ourselves that may develop in response to life experiences. This approach can help clients better understand internal conflicts and develop greater self-compassion.
Emotion-Focused Therapy:
Supporting clients in identifying, understanding, and processing emotions.
Gender and LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy:
Providing a supportive, affirming space for clients exploring gender and sexuality identity and expression, while respecting each person's individual experience.
